01 · The challenge
An early move with 3,000+ objects to fix
The cooperative’s legacy SAP ECC caused inefficiencies, duplicate data entry and poor operational visibility. Its 1,300+ users ran complex order to cash, procure to pay, record to report, PLM, EHS, quality and warehouse processes, alongside SAP Ariba, SAP IBP and SAP Analytics Cloud integrations. The move meant remediating 3,000+ technical objects, validating 200+ test scripts, converting customers, vendors and employees to business partners, and retesting EDI, Ariba and IBP integrations. As an early SAP S/4HANA 2020 adopter, the cooperative had little industry precedent to follow.
02 · The approach
Assess with TSP Kelvin, then deliver end to end
The cooperative chose TSP for its SAP expertise and its experience in food and agriculture. TSP Kelvin mapped the ECC landscape first, identifying custom code risks, gaps and SAP S/4HANA 2020 innovation opportunities before any migration work began. TSP then delivered the migration end to end, with production-size dry runs and two landscapes maintained in parallel for eight months.
