Agentic SAP testing with TSP ARIA

Your process documents, specs, recordings and manual scripts already describe what needs testing. ARIA reads them, writes the scenarios and pulls test data from your live SAP, and your experts approve every script before it runs.

Agentic testing uses AI agents to define test scope, generate test scripts and prepare test data, with people reviewing every result. TSP ARIA, the agentic delivery platform of The Silicon Partners (TSP), does this for SAP: it reads your documentation and recordings, mines data from live SAP with ARIA TestMiner, and hands validated tests to Tricentis or UiPath.

  • ~70%Shorter testing timelines
  • 9,000+Test scenarios and scripts generated by ARIA
  • 750+Pre-built SAP test bots

Where does the time go in SAP testing?

Mostly in deciding what to test. Before a single script is written, teams spend weeks in workshops working out which processes, variations and data each test needs, and then the business reviews it all again. Agentic testing hands that groundwork to agents, so your experts spend their time approving tests.

How ARIA Test works

From your documents to validated test scripts

  1. Read what you already have

ARIA reads your business process documents, functional specifications, configuration guides, recordings of real transactions and existing manual scripts, and cross-references them to define the exact test scope.

  2. Generate scenarios and scripts

ARIA writes each scenario with all its custom variations and the fields and data each transaction needs. It then compares the result with your existing scripts, so the business revalidates only what’s new or changed.

  3. Mine the test data

TSP ARIA TestMiner reads your live SAP tables, module by module, and assembles scenario-ready test data, down to the line items of a sales order. Existing test data and scenarios are ready in seconds.

  4. Review and approve

Functional experts work through each script in ARIA: pending review, in functional review, script validated, or sent back for AI changes. Every decision is recorded, and any change can be undone.

  5. Run and track

Validated scenarios become automated tests on Tricentis or UiPath. Runs, results and defects sync with SAP Cloud ALM and Jira, so test managers and project leads see the same status.

What reviewers and test managers work with

Executive reviewing TSP ARIA dashboard
  • A live dashboard

Review status across every scenario, so test managers see at a glance what’s validated and what’s waiting.

  • A review board

Scripts move from pending review to validated, or back to ARIA for changes, with live counts.

  • A full audit trail

Every change recorded with who made it and when, and any import undone in one click.

  • Existing scripts imported

Manual scripts pasted in from Excel join the same review flow as everything ARIA generates.

  • Security role testing

Roles tested with positive and negative cases, and segregation-of-duties issues raised before go-live.

  • Defects matched to known fixes

New defects compared in seconds with fixes from past TSP programs, so known problems close faster.

See it work

ARIA Test, from documents to validated scripts

The demo follows one program from start to finish:

  • Documents in, scenarios out: process documents, specs, configuration guides, recordings and manual scripts flow into ARIA, and generated test cases flow out.
  • The review: a reviewer opens a scenario, validates the script and moves it across the review board.
  • Existing scripts: rows pasted from Excel join the review, and an import is undone in one click.
  • TestMiner: test data pulled from a live SAP sales order, down to its line items.

It runs for about two minutes.

FAQ

Questions about Agentic testing with TSP ARIA

Straight answers to what SAP leaders ask us most.

Talk to an SAP expert

What is agentic testing?

Agentic testing uses AI agents to do the groundwork of software testing: defining what to test, writing test scenarios and scripts, and preparing test data. People stay in control by reviewing and approving what the agents produce. In SAP programs, where scoping and test data take the most time, it shortens testing timelines considerably.

Can we trust test scripts written by AI?

Every script ARIA generates goes through review by your functional experts before it runs: they validate it or send it back for changes, and every decision is recorded. ARIA works from your own documents, recordings and SAP data, so each scenario can be traced to the source it came from.

What is TSP ARIA TestMiner?

TestMiner is the part of ARIA Test that prepares test data. It reads your live SAP tables, module by module, and assembles scenario-ready data for each test, such as a sales order with its line items. It replaces the slow work of finding and keying in test data by hand.

Does ARIA Test work for greenfield, brownfield and upgrade projects?

Yes. Each kind of project extracts what it needs: a brownfield move reads the existing ECC processes and data, a greenfield program works from the new design documents, and an upgrade focuses on what the release changes. Testing phases are planned for integration, user acceptance and regression rounds.

Do we buy ARIA separately?

ARIA comes with TSP’s SAP and testing services: it’s how TSP delivers, so there’s no separate license to manage. If you already work with TSP on an SAP program, ARIA Test can be added to the testing scope. See TSP ARIA.

What happened to TSP TestGenius?

TestGenius, TSP’s tool for identifying the test scripts a migration needs, is now part of ARIA Test. ARIA goes further: it writes the scripts, prepares the data with TestMiner and tracks every run, so the whole testing workflow sits in one place.
