SAP S/4HANA

SAP S/4HANA implementation for companies new to SAP

Moving from a legacy or non-SAP ERP to SAP S/4HANA? TSP designs, builds and supports your first SAP system with you, on the deployment that fits your business.

Already on ECC? See migration

The Silicon Partners (TSP) implements SAP S/4HANA for US mid-market and enterprise companies that aren’t on SAP ECC today, moving from legacy, homegrown or non-SAP ERP systems. TSP runs the whole journey: fit-to-standard design, configuration, data migration, integration, testing, training and go-live, on Public Cloud, Private Cloud or on premises.

Your deployment

Three ways to run SAP S/4HANA

  • Public Cloud with SAP GROW

Standard processes and a fast start, with SAP running and updating the system.

    SAP GROW

  • Private Cloud with RISE with SAP

More room to tailor your processes, with SAP running the infrastructure.

    RISE with SAP

  • On premises or your own cloud

Full control of hosting and upgrade timing, on your servers or a hyperscaler.

How it works

How a TSP implementation runs

  1. Discover and prepare

Business case, scope and deployment choice settled, and your project team and plan in place before design starts.

  2. Fit to standard

Workshops match your processes to SAP’s best practices and decide every gap early. TSP ARIA Project captures each requirement and decision as you go.

  3. Build

Configuration, extensions and integrations built in short cycles, with data migration from your current systems rehearsed along the way.

  4. Test and train

Automated regression testing with TSP ARIA Test, plus training that gets each team ready for its new processes.

    SAP test automation

  5. Go live and run

A rehearsed cutover, hypercare while your teams settle in, and application management after that.

How is a first SAP implementation different from a migration?

A migration converts an existing SAP ECC system. A first implementation starts from your current ERP’s processes and data instead. That means more design work up front, deciding how your business will run on SAP’s standard processes, and a data migration from a different system, with its own cleanup and mapping.

FAQ

Questions about S/4HANA implementation

Straight answers to what SAP leaders ask us most.

Talk to an SAP expert

Which deployment should a company new to SAP choose?

It depends on how standard your processes are and how much control you want. Many new SAP customers start on Public Cloud with SAP GROW, often through SAP’s fixed-scope SAP GROW Fast path; companies that need more flexibility choose Private Cloud with RISE with SAP. TSP helps you decide before design begins.

Can you move our data from our current ERP?

Yes. TSP maps, cleans and migrates master data and open transactions from legacy and non-SAP systems, rehearsed in trial loads before go-live. Older history can stay in an archive your teams can still search.

Do you work with mid-market companies?

Yes. TSP implements SAP for US mid-market and enterprise companies, and sizes each program to match: a clear scope, a senior team, and no more overhead than the program needs.

Will we need support after go-live?

Most companies do, at least for the first months. SAP AMS covers support after go-live, and on the cloud editions it complements what SAP runs for you.
