01 · The challenge
Four process areas, no room for missed defects
The company’s move from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA on RISE needed end-to-end validation across the full SAP landscape before go-live. It spanned supply chain management, record to report, quote to cash and global trade services, each with complex interdependencies that manual testing alone couldn’t reliably cover within release timelines. Manual testing at that scale would have taken weeks of tester effort per cycle, in a nine-month project under significant pressure and with no room for missed defects.
02 · The approach
52 end-to-end scripts across every module touched
TSP built 52 automated end-to-end test scripts in UiPath, covering 1,500+ test steps across all four core process areas, and used them to validate the full QA environment after migration.
Scripts by process area
Global trade services
20 automated scenarios.
Record to report
17 scripts.
Quote to cash
9 scripts.
Supply chain management
6 scripts.
Built to last
Designed for ongoing use, with the company’s team enabled to maintain and extend coverage after go-live.
